In the Nire river which runs adjacent to the farmhouse.The Nire is a tributary of the famous River Suir. Trout fishing is the main form of angling on the Nire. Fishing permits are available locally.

For those wishing to admire the beauty of the surroundings on horseback ‘MELODY’S’ our local equestrian centre will happily accommodate you, as they have over 30 years' experience in pony-trekking.
So whether you are a novice or in experienced horse back rider there will be a horse and saddle awaiting you.

If you wish to take in a round of golf during our stay, you will be spoiled for choice in the Nire Valley area. Green fees and teetimes can be arranged through Paddy or Olive.
