Rushveala Lodge is a recently built cozy bed and breakfast located only 1km from the picturesque village of Oughterard, famous for the brown trout angling on Lough Corrib and 17Km from the university town of Galway. We are members of the Family Homes of Ireland bed and breakfast association.
Oughterard has many fine restaurants and lively pubs, where you can have great food and plenty of fun in the evening. The locals are extremely friendly and welcoming.

Our location makes the perfect base to head out to see Connemara , the beautiful Maam Valley and Clifden. Even closer to home there are many activities including, Hill walking, Fishing, Horse riding and we are only across the road from Oughterard Golf Club.
